About
A pink-and-white mosque built by Sikandar Begum, one of Bhopal's female Nawabs, styled as a smaller echo of Delhi's Jama Masjid with twin minarets and a serene courtyard.
Did you know? Moti Masjid was commissioned by Sikandar Begum, one of four women who ruled Bhopal in succession through the 19th and early 20th centuries — a run of female Muslim rulers virtually unmatched anywhere else in the world at the time.
