About us
A verified way to discover India's heritage
Usher Heritage is the digital discovery and intelligence layer for cultural heritage in India — a verified directory of museums, forts, monuments, UNESCO World Heritage Sites and GI-tagged crafts, built city by city and fact by fact.
Opening hours, ticket prices and closures change often, and most visitors find out the hard way. We structure this information field by field — hours, ticket categories, accessibility, facilities — and track when each fact was last verified, so you can trust what you see before you travel. Where something isn't yet confirmed, we say so rather than guess.
Our vision
A country as vast and layered as India deserves a heritage record as trustworthy as it is beautiful — one where a monument, a museum, or a centuries-old craft tradition is never more than a verified fact away, and where curiosity is rewarded rather than met with outdated blog posts and guesswork.
Our mission
To build and maintain the single most reliable record of India's heritage places and living crafts — verified against official sources, kept current as things change, and presented so that planning a visit takes minutes, not hours of scattered searching.
What we do
We research and structure the details that actually matter before a visit — hours, tickets, accessibility, protection status, and the story behind a place — across UNESCO World Heritage Sites, ASI-protected monuments, museums, and Geographical Indication (GI) tagged arts and crafts. Every entry is built to be checked, not just published.
What's next
We're verifying more of what's already in the database — exact timings, current ticket prices, coordinates — city by city, and building curated guidance on top of it: what to see first, what fits the time you have, and what's worth a special trip for.
